Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar from a recognized college or university.
Several years of progressive experience in design, engineering or manufacturing

Provide technical assistance on a variety of electrical engineering topics, designing and supporting embedded software and firmware applications
Participates in product architecture, design, development, and deployment
Invested in the product from early to late stages, interacting with new users, understanding customer needs, and resolving any issues that may arise
Conjures time estimates for tasks and keeps peers informed
Investigates and debugs complex system problems and leads solutions to improve and correct.
Assist in troubleshooting, problem solving, failure analysis, root cause, and corrective action as required for production related issues as related to materials, processes, and equipment.

Proficient with the C programming Language and familiar with common software development practices
Experience with micro-controllers (ARM-Cortex series preferred)
Good understanding of schematics and circuit diagrams
Several years knowledge and experience with Firmware development.
Experienced with RTOS (desirably FreeRTOS)
Good understanding of FPGA
Experience with communication interfaces (USB, Ethernet, etc)
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Positive mindset and have a 'hands-on' approach
Must be able to travel as needed up to 10%
