We currently seek a Project Manager to work with our client in the USA. Our client operates with the nuclear industries and seeks a Project Manager to support their Imaging business line. You will be responsible for: reviewing/responding to customer and Sales requests for quotations, managing multiple Imaging development projects simultaneously, and directly augmenting Design efforts in support of ongoing projects.  Imaging solutions will require technical competency to incorporate electrical, mechanical, software, optical and system functions into successful endpoints.  This position directly impacts the financial and risk performance of the business and is considered a key contributory role.  The role leverages the individual’s experience in both technical skill and project management combined with appropriate inter-personal ability to meet our customer’s requirements. 

Your Tasks

    • Technical customer facing skills to interact with various levels of imaging acumen and interpret what is stated into what is required/desired
    • Strong problem solving skills using a combination of existing imaging building blocks (both internal and external) and bespoke design efforts as required
    • Ability to balance cost, schedule, and risk associated with Imaging Projects while driving multiple timelines forward simultaneously
    • Agility in managing multiple competing demands for personal and business resources to negotiate optimal solutions for the business while managing customer expectations
    • Experience driving customer Requests for Quotations of varying levels of complexity to a complete bid package response; leveraging technical, commercial, financial, quality, and operational inputs
    • Ability to identify and proactively mitigate risks associated with all project aspects
    • Directly augment design resources through the management of Bills of Material/Item creation, drawing creation, system design/development, and system manual development

Your Profile

Required Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
    • Experience developing plans with costs and schedules for projects
    • Knowledge of sound engineering design and architecture best practices and processes
    • Ability to make complex decisions across all project aspects
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience managing projects with demonstrated success from quotation to acceptance
    • Experience working with Imaging Hardware and Software designs
    • Demonstrated ability to proactively implement strategic decisions and drive customers towards optimal solutions
    • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable collaboration
    • Ability to articulate key message summaries to all levels of the organization (internally and externally)
