We are working with one of the top management consultancies in the energy, environment, and utilities sector. This is an exciting, long-term, leadership position offering remote work for someone with a strong background with hands-on experience of running dispatch models with decent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience coding in multiple programming languages (for example, but not limited to; PLEXOS, Python and Visual basic). Furthermore, you will be required to compose original modelling algorithms and be able to communicate effectively with customers.
Modelling skills in PLEXOS (Preferred) or other modelling programs such as MATLAB, PROPHET, or Python
Experience in running dispatch models

Educated to degree level (essential)

- Leading modelling projects from inception through to completion - Developing energy market modeling intelligence subscription services and training materials - Support digitalization of existing and new modelling tools - Implementing group-wide quality assurance (QA) frameworks for modelling outputs in the GB and Irish markets - Preparing customer proposals and pitch materials - Advise and budget for updating, refreshing or supplementing modelling hardware and software requirements to support modelling activities - Preparation and maintenance of marketing collateral and credentials, in line with the approved group branding. - Develop the team behaviours to ensure a stakeholder centric experience whether they are internal or external stakeholders. - Management responsibility for the team’s agreed KPIs.
