To advise and support Hydrogen projects with techno-commercial related matters in the business development stage in close coordination with the business development, CTO, Portfolio management and O&M BU.
Organize and deliver all the technical packages related to hydrogen or liquefied gas projects from feasibility studies to execution, within the schedule, budget, and quality defined.
Structure all the technical packages of projects according to the general project plan, in order to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety objectives of the project.
Ensure the delivery of all technical packages of the projects, coordinating all relevant internal and external stakeholders (Contractors, Internal technical representatives, permitting administration, regulatory bodies, etc.).
Negotiate, select and control technical contractors from engineering studies to execution works. Hold cross functional design reviews throughout the development process. Advise Company management of the program statuses on a regular basis.
Cross-functionally communicate between departments to ensure all parties involved are informed and up to date on project changes and delays.
Work professionally and cooperatively in a cross-functional team environment with a focus upon maximizing system performance and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate prototype testing to qualify new designs (if applicable)
Engineering degree qualification. Advanced is preferred
At least 10 - 15 years’ intensive experience on international projects.
Experience in Engineering Management activities in the fields of hydrogen or natural gas, from technical studies and to execution works.
Proven track record in delivering Engineering Management from Concept, FEED and Detailed Engineering phases
Background in both technical and business sides of the energy market from R&D through technology commercialization to project execution and program management.
Proven track record in managing several projects simultaneously, with multi-disciplinary dimensions.
Experience working on large complex projects, ideally with EPC / EPCC / EPCM
Ideally experience in distributed power generation (PV, Wind, Fuel cell, grids, gensets, etc.)
The ideal candidate should exhibit both exceptional communication and engineering management skills.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to handle multiple project assignments, and willing to learn and adapt within a fast-paced engineering organization.
Sound knowledge of cost optimization with focus on value engineering results as well as ability to challenge EPC design to deliver the lowest Project Life Cycle Cost.
Rigorous attitude and flexibility, as well as problem-solving capability
