EPC Director

As an EPC Director you will manage the technical elements of an offshore wind project including but not limited to the time, budget, scope/quality, risk, safety and resources of the project from pre-FID until Transfer to Operations. 







  • MSc or other relevant master’s degree
  • Competence equivalent to IPMA level A/B and/or PMI PMP
  • 5-10 years’ experience from similar position within offshore wind and/or construction projects

Your Tasks

  • Manage technical project team
  • Support in developing budgets and ensure total expenditure stays within total budget
  • Secure quality of deliverables from project packages
  • Ensure involvement of HSE in all relevant matters to secure compliance with project quality and HSE standards
  • Support project risk management as well as project stakeholder management
  • Management of all technical aspects of the project, including design, fabrication and installation & Commissioning up to COD
  • Identify, manage and optimize technical interfaces across the work packages and minimize respective risk
  • Assign and/or approve assignment of Package Managers and their teams
  • Manage coordination between Package Managers on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage and coordinate between packages the overall time schedule, including key milestones
  • Ensure execution of contracts according to respective procurement strategies as well as compliance with the established agreements
  • Identify potential corrective actions and business case improvements
  • Ensure technical management of all sub-contractors, and support both their deliveries, the contracts, claims and variations
  • Secure proper project documentation from contractors and suppliers, including operations documentation
  • Prepare progress reports and decisions proposal to Project Director
  • Support proper handover to Operations
