Energy Consultant

Function of the role The role of an Energy Consultant is to is to oversee a portfolio of our clients, working with them to maximise their energy tax relief claims. You will be joining expert teams who work in close partnership with thousands of businesses each year. Main responsibilities will include • Preparing and reviewing energy related tax claims • Working with a variety of high profile clients and liaising with senior stakeholders, up to and including C-Suite • Generating new value propositions for prospective clients in relation to their tax relief projects and strategies • Drafting clear technical narratives and financial analysis documents related to energy use carried out by clients in different sectors • Interacting with government departments to submit claims • Running workshops, addressing seminars, conferences etc to express professional views regarding energy tax relief • Staying abreast of developments in the energy sector and identifying new business opportunities leyton.com/uk/your-career • Working closely with all Leyton departments and business units to ensure client projects delivered accurately and on time • Working as a part of a high performing, target-driven team, providing guidance and assistance to fellow team members Desired experience and skills • Degree in science, engineering, manufacturing or any energy-related discipline • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at executive and C-level • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs • Highly organised with ability to run and manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing deadlines
